Principle Investigator

Elizaveta graduated from the Novosibirsk State University (Russia) where she obtained a Bachelor degree in Physics and Master degree in Chemical Physics. She was working in the group of Prof Gritsan (Institute of Chemical Kinetics and Combustion) on theoretical analysis of molecular magnets and had a placement in the group of Prof Chibotaru (KU Leuven). She has received a Medal from Russian Academy of Science for her research. After completing her PhD, Elizaveta has been working on theoretical spectroscopy and magnetism of transition metal complexes in the group of Prof Frank Neese at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion (MPI CEC). After that, she became a senior research fellow at the University of Southampton investigating the spin dynamics of paramagnetic systems in the group of Prof Kuprov. Elizaveta recently became a Prize Fellow at the University of Bath where she is establishing her independent research group.
